More furlough news from James Colton

January 21 2008

'Arrived safely in Sheffield. Had a wonderful time in Whitby. Good to see old friends and meet new friends. Good to have so many opportunities to share about the work, both in services and over meals. Had an interview on Radio Tees with Mark Turnbull (apparently you can access on the internet and still hear the programme today. Kept for one week. The interview came after 7:15 a.m. and was for ten minutes. We were also interviewed by the Whitby Gazette, but despit the promise it would be in the Tuesday edition it wasn't nor was it in Friday's. So if it is published then Helen will send us a copy.
Sunday we will be at Ward Gren Baptist Church and on Tuesday Colin and Glenys are having an open house for anyone to come and meet us - this is especially for those who bought from the Webb Ivory Catalogues they ran, with the commission going for my support/work on our house.
Silas is a blessing to all, being well received and is making good impressions on all who meet him. A great ambassador for the Lord and for Tanzania'.
