Sunday School writes to James Colton June 9 2008 Yesterday during Sunday School, the children at Tipton Family Church wrote letters to James Colton in Tanzania. They know James anyway, as during his visit to the UK a few months back, he spent time at TFC. The church is where SICM's director Stewart Bloor is the leader so there is a good link anyway between the two ministries. You can check out the church website here and if perhaps you are in the Black Country area of England and don't have a church that you attend, then you will be made very welcome indeed there. If you're involved in a church yourself then why not set your own Sunday School kids the task of writing letters to James on the mission field? Not only would it be a great encouragement to James (he loves to get letters) but it's a brilliant way of introducing children to missions. And if we can put within young hearts that the church is more than just the four walls of our own buildings, then that can only be a good thing.
