Muslim Outreach work in Ghana

June 12 2008

'I am writing to inform you that the good work which SICM started sponsoring is yielding good fruits. The Muslim Outreach work is now growing with many Evangelists getting involved everyday. Last week a group of Evangelists came to see me me and we went to (name withheld), a purely Islamic village next to the place where where the orphanage is and we were able to win THREE people who are ready to move out of the village for fear of victimization. They are all between the ages of 22 years of age and are willing to learn a trade. Just this morning they came to see me for more biblical lessons and they are really excited and want to grow more in the Lord.

It is also a joy to learn that three of the first muslims sponsored by SICM about four years ago will be graduating from Bible College at the end of this month. We are therefore encouraging all our sponsors to stand behind SICM to help us reach out to the Muslim community. It is an area many have rejected since it has been concluded that no amount of words can convince a Muslim to become a Christian. But if God could call me from the Mosque and made me a Pastor, then God can do it now. Perhaps you cannot go yourself but your support can send more people to the field. We need your support to keep this noble work going
