Sedgley International Christian Ministries

A busy James reports from Tanzania

October 12 2008

Had a great week in Sagaras, Silas' home village in Singida. There were four of us in the team. Pastor Moses from Arusha shared with Silas in the crusade ministry, and he also shared with Silas in translating for me. Fedrel Castro came with us for singing ministry and helping to minister in prayer. I was doing seminars, one in the day from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, and one at night from 9:30 to 11:30pm. We had a great time of ministry and saw many coming to Christ and being healed.

Also so many people being blessed by the Word of God in the seminars - more and more people were coming and the church was full and people were standing. Many received from God and were ministered to in prayer. We were so busy praying for everyone at the end of the Sunday morning service (which had started at 10:30 am.) that we did not finish until 2:30pm. Then we had to hurry with lunch to get to the final open air meeting.

At the conclusion I was asked to pray for the village, and as I prayed I was aware of the presence of God and that He was going to really bless that village.

One of the high points for me was meeting Silas' family - they had waited so long to meet me. Now it was good to meet them, we had been invited for lunch. After lunch I went from house to house in the family compound and prayed God's blessing and protection. Some of his family are still Muslim but they received the Word of God as we shared with them. They invited me to return and gave me a gift of eggs.

Tomorrow I travel to Kisegese Harvest Church, Ifakara, Morogoro region with Bishop Mhina of Harvest Gospel Outreach Ministries. I had been with him to Masasi Mtwara region. Now I am to do the same ministry, in the mornings 3 seminars for church leaders and then in the afternoon I have one seminar for all the church  - then Bishop Mhina has a seminar and in the evening will be a Miracle service. I am told we will share this ministry.

So there is much praise God for and to continue to pray for. Thank you for your support.

God Bless
