October 25 2008 It was always going to be a close game and The Summer Cup semi-final replay between Tipton Family Church FC and Crestwood Church FC, in this week's SICM Sevens, was decided by a goal scored in the opening minute as the Crestwood defence was caught napping. It was a good game, passionate and full of energy, but as soon as the final whistle went, it was handshakes all round with plenty of best wishes from the Crestwood lads for the final. They were a credit to the church that they represent. In the league, Juaniche Wanderers are opening up a gap at the top as they defeated AFC Fatherless Barn 8-0. It was a top v bottom clash and Juaniche continued their free-scoring start to the season as they have now found the net 44 times in just 7 games.
