Tuesday saw not only the Ebenezer All Stars' top start to the season continue but also the dismal Tipton Family Church FC campaign to date. Whilst the former made it five out of five wins, the latter were in the opposite camp as they lost their fourth in four outings. Going down to two sloppy goals right at the start didn't help and although that was the score until the break, you can't give a team like Ebenezer that sort of start. The second half saw them add more goals and run out 6-1 winners. The other game on the evening saw Brandhall & Quinton FC climb above St Matthew's Ravens courtesy of their 4-2 victory. It was a hard fought game, very close but edged in the end. Both teams are in the chasing pack of six with just three points between them. This is how the league was last year, and with nothing to choose between most teams it will probably be more of the same this time round. Put together three wins on the bounce and you will be right in there, lose three and you'll be in the basement group.
