Monday February 15 2010 The Cobras' occupation of second place was short-lived, as on Tuesday evening Tipton Family Church FC claimed it back. Moving into a 5-0 lead over AFC Fatherless Barn, it looked to be all over before the first half even got going. But although they did hit the Barn for six in the end, it was only after they came back to 5-3 and set up what could have been the comeback of the league's history, never mind the season. Craig Eccleston is on fire at the moment for TFC though, grabbing another hat-trick. Midland Elite's current run of form came to an abrupt end as they lost 5-2 to St Matthew's Ravens in the DBMT. The Ravens are inconsistent at the moment and so they will be hoping that this win kick starts their challenge for the title, of which they still have an outside chance. Peter Madge took his goals tally for the season to 22 as he found the net twice. Taken from the SICM Sevens website www.sicmsevens.org
