News from Geoff Karen Abi, Beth and Daniel Malan.

                May 2010

Namaste! Greetings from the beautiful land of INDIA!

Ministry:

Training: God has opened so many doors for Leadership and Pastoral Training and the recipients of the Training are hungry for God with a desire to see Him work powerfully in this nation. In the past two months Geoff has ministered in Chennai, Chitoor: Andra Pradesh, Delhi, Coimbatore, Calicut: Orissa and Bangalore. A lot of ministry opportunities have opened up in Ooty and this has also kept Geoff very busy.

Missionary Care: In the past two months we have had the opportunity to serve and minister to over 40 missionaries; this has been a great blessing.

Family:

By God’s grace we are all doing well! We have had a few months of serious health challenges and would like to ask you to particularly pray for good health. Daniel is in a new school and doing well, he started standard seven this April. The girl’s year runs from August to June and they are now writing exams. Abi is doing her 1 st Year of “A” Levels and Beth is completing her GCSE.

Communication:

We are having major problems with our email. Mail that is sent and received is getting lost, we do apologise if you have sent an email and not got a reply. Also our newsletters going out in bulk mail have either not arrived or have gone into the recipients junk mail. To keep folk updated we will be posting our news regularly on our websites: www.mission-india.org and www.sicm.org Please check our website!

Thank you for your interest, prayer and investment in our lives and ministry. We serve God here in India to Make the Name of Jesus, GREAT! Thanks for being a part of this!

Please continue to pray with us:

-Strength, safety and health for Geoff as he travels and Trains Leaders.

-God’s empowering of the Leaders who are going out and planting Churches and especially those starting Training Centres.

-Wisdom and strength as we minister to and serve missionaries here in Asia.

-Our health, we really need a breakthrough with reoccurring health issues.

-Wisdom as we seek to establish a Leadership Training Centre here in Ooty and also Andra Pradesh.

-Resources and support for the ministry.

-Umish, a young man who is showing interest in Jesus.

May Jesus bless you with His goodness, grace and favour!
