  James Colton departs

James stayed with us last night and  we were up bright and early this morning at 3.55am and then soon we were on our way to Birmingham airport. Everything went well with the checking in and James passed through into departures.

The last I saw of him was as he went up the escalator, pictured above. As this news item is published he will now be in the skies somewhere over Africa destined for Dar-Es-Salaam later (10.30pm Tanzanian time).

As soon as we hear news that he has arrived safely we will publish an update.
