I grew up in a native doctors family(idols worshippers). I was supposed to follow my parents footstep but I refused and because of that I left my village when I was 11 years old, to go and to stay with my grandmother in another village. She was a Catholic Christian and started to tell me some Christian stories. Those Christian stories effected my life and when I went to live in the city and met some Christians from Flock of Christ Mission at once I joined them to church.
I accepted Jesus in my heart, my life started to change and I felt strongly to share the Gospel, so I joined an evangelistic team. By the grace of God I got free bibles and Christian literature from abroad and I started to visit churches and private homes to distribute them for free, some time we walked on foot even for long distance, but I was full of joy.
Many churches welcomed me, but when I shared in the Catholic church they very badly threw me out. I couldn’t understand and it was a shock to me, how can a Christian church refuse Christian literature distribution? This episode made me to question Christianity, I discoursed about it with some of my friends, who discouraged me in many ways to follow Christianity.
Then I started to search ways to know God better in different countries and religions like: Hari Krishna Movement, Amorc Rosicrucian Order, Muslim, Buddhism, etc. Time by time I would meet Christians who shared the Word and to pray for me, every time I was touched and started to go to church again, but my work and the kind of friends I had, prevented me to be a committed believer.
I was a professional footballer, then Coach/Agent/Manager for players. I traveled all over Asia and finally in 2010 the Lord used a missionary, who now is my wife, to bring me back to committed Christian life. That time I was in Thailand, so I started to attend the International Christian Assembly in Bangkok, I surrounded to God and one of the pastors started to train me and to mentor me.
The Lord started to speak to me about to serve Him full time in Africa, and to leave my job. In 2011 I left my job, went back to Africa and apply for a bible school. At Bible School God gave me instructions of how to serve Him and where.
God confirmed it to my fiancé, who was already a missionary from many years, and she agreed with my calling, so after our marriage we came in Cape Coast to obey and fulfill God’s calling for our life.
To God be the Glory!
