James Colton weekly ministry report
Received within the hour, so 'hot off the press':
Greetings in Jesus name.
Sunday I was teaching Adult Sunday School and Pastor Chipamba translated
for me; I was teaching from Luke 6:40 about being "perfectly trained". I was
told later it was a powerful message. So we thank God.
Wednesday Rose completed her series of studies about the Kingdom of God and
Faith. It was well received.
Tonight (Friday) I am again teaching a short word and leading the prayers
for our church prayer meeting.
Otherwise I am busy studying and reading; after all I also need to be fed
and I need to seek God for myself and not just for when I am teaching.
Prayer request from Silas - he phoned me this morning;
He thanks God for what is happening in his church, they were able to make
repairs to the church roof. Do pray for the church as they have set a programme
to pray for and witness to 5 people each over the next 3 weeks.
Also Silas asks for our prayers as he and his family are going through a
difficult time financially, but he knows God is able to meet their needs. But
asks we stand with him in prayer.
