Greetings in the name of Jesus.
Friday 15th I led the Prayer Meeting at church, beginning with a short word
as I asked "Where is the power of God today?" It was a good meeting.
Sunday I brought the Word of God in the morning service and continued to
look and speak about the Power of God.
Wednesday Rose taught the Bible Study, looking at 1 Samuel chapter 15;
speaking about obeying God faithfully and fully, as otherwise it is rebellion
which we are told is as witchcraft.
Friday 22nd I was again leading the Prayer Meeting with Jeremiah leading
Praise and Worship. I referred to Smith Wigglesworth as he said: "The Acts of
the Apostles is so called because the Apostles acted." So looked at verse where
the Apostle spoke and acted - all this I did in Swahili with no translation. It
was a powerful prayer meeting.
Sunday I presided over the Lord's Table- reading the words from 1
Corinthians 11:23 - 26 from the Swahili Bible. Then I brought the Word of God
speaking about the "Power of God to Salvation", which is the Gospel of Christ.
Also looking at Hebrews 2:1-3 to be careful of our salvation. At the end 12
people came forward in response to my appeal; some to receive Jesus for the
first time and the others being aware that they have neglected their salvation
were making a re-commitment. Do pray for them.
GOOD NEWS
On Wednesday 20th June I took the forms for renewing my permit into the
office, I went with Jeremiah and on the way me Pastor Komba who then came with
us. At 11am we went in and at 1:30m we came out with my permit and passport
stamped! Praise God. (Previously it has been 3 days to a week and two years ago
was over 3 weeks!) Thank you everyone who prayed for this and for those who gave
to help with the costs.
Pastor Chipamba is coming to the end of his second year of studies and has
commenced two weeks of exams today (25th), so for the next two Sundays I will be
teaching Adult Sunday School and bringing the Word of God for the Morning
Service. Do pray for Pastor Chipamba, and pray for me. Thanks.
Greetings from Rose. We remember you in our prayers.
God Bless
James and Rose
