James Colton - Tanzania

Prior to heading for East Africa, James was a Pentecostal Minister (AOG) in Yorkshire, in the north of England. It was an initial short-term missions trip in May 2000 that led him and his wife Anneli to set up base in Kibaha, a rural village not too far from the city of Dar-es-Salaam, a couple of years later in February 2002. Unfortunately, just one year on, Anneli developed cancer and although she came back to England for treatment, very sadly, went to be with the Lord. It was a devastating blow to all that knew her, but with great courage James returned home to Tanzania where he took up the challenge of the work that they had begun together.
