James Colton news 2007 / 2008 Wednesday November 12 2008 James' ministry update.......Then in the afternoon I spoke for three and half hours to all the church leaders - speaking about the life and character of a leader. It was so well received I have been asked to go back to do more seminars for them. They want the teaching and support and are so glad that God has brought me to them....... click here for more
Wednesday November 5 2008 James feeling better and ministering......On Wednesday evening I took the Bible Study at church. My first ministry but it was difficult - when we began singing I began to cough and after the meeting my voice was rough again and I was tired....... click here for more
Saturday November 1 2008 Very busy times for James Colton......Then back home I have been resting and recovering. I feel very tired, physically, mentally and spiritually. So am being careful to rest - not easy. Already Bishop Mhina has visited me with invitations for more ministry - seminars in November, this time in Tanga and Dar Es Salaam. Sunday October 12 2008 A busy James reports from Tanzania......One of the high points for me was meeting Silas' family - they had waited so long to meet me. Now it was good to meet them, we had been invited for lunch. After lunch I went from house to house in the family compound and prayed God's blessing and protection.......click here for more
Monday September 29 2008 News from James in Tanzania......At the end of September I travel with Silas to his home village in Singida for open air meetings and seminars. Then on 7th October I travel with Bishop Mhina to his church in Ifakara, Morogoro for seminars, both for church leaders and for all the church....... click here for more

Monday September 15 2008 Stewart Bloor at Darkhouse Baptist Church.....It's also an opportunity to take a box of parcels along for church members to post. This is a ministry that we have been involved in for some years where people put stamps on packages and then post them to people on the mission field. Yesterday 24 parcels went, ensuring that a total of 41 individual resources will soon be on their way to James Colton in Tanzania ....... click here for more

Thursday June 26 2008 Mission report from James Colton.......James Colton reports back on a very busy mission that the team had a few weeks back. Monday June 23 2008 Just like the proverbial bus.......We had a text from James Colton over the weekend to say that he received three letters from us at the same time. These are the weekly letters that we send out, which should arrive with seven days in between. But it's like the proverbial bus - you wait ages for one and then a cluster of them turn up together!.......click here for more
Monday June 9 2008 Sunday School writes to James Colton.......Yesterday during Sunday School, the children at Tipton Family Church wrote letters to James Colton in Tanzania. They know James anyway, as during his visit to the UK a few months back, he spent time at TFC.......click here for more
Sunday June 8 2008 Silas and James head north for a week.......Tomorrow, James and Silas are travelling with a team to Kahama in the north of the country (Shinyanga region). Silas will be conducting the outreach meetings and James will be doing seminars. They are there for a whole week so hopefully they will be able to e-mail during their stay. Thursday May 22 2008 James Colton work permit...Please remember James in your prayers over the next couple of weeks as his work permit expires on June 4. Lots of invitations continue to come in for James to minister in conferences and meetings around Tanzania and so it's really important that the permit is extended.......click here for

Many were ministered to that day and received from God. It was a powerful time and many were challenged and blessed, leaving better equipped and prepared for service.
