SICM Sevens committee

Objective: To develop a small group of people to assist with the smooth running of the league.

Qualifications: In order to maintain the thrust of the ethos of the league we are looking for committed Christians. You will also need to have a vision for the league, both the football and the wider spiritual dimension. And although we do want to move forward, we’re happy with the basic framework of organisation that we have at present, so we’re looking for people who feel the same way. Not that change isn’t welcome - just that the boat doesn’t need rocking too much!

Work involved: There will be a meeting once every two months, starting in November. This will take place locally (probably a Wednesday evening) and as representatives of the league, each individual will have the opportunity to bring issues that need discussing. In addition, the committee will be connected via the Internet, so that decisions that need to be made quickly (such as suspensions for red cards etc) can be done without the need for a physical meeting. The meetings will involve looking at any issues that need to be dealt with and then reaching a decision on how to implement change if necessary.
