The power of the pen on the mission field July 20 2007 As part of the current 'spring clean' that is taking place from top to bottom within SICM, we are reorganising James Colton's support team. If you can pick up a pen and write a letter, this may be an area that you can serve the Lord in. It's not always easy being on the mission field, particularly in a culture that is very different to the one that you have grown up in. And in a situation like that, it's amazing how much difference something as simple as a letter can make. What we want to do is to gather together people who will commit to writing a letter to James on a regular basis. We are not talking about writing every week, in fact once a month is sufficient, because eight people writing every month means he still gets two letters a week. This is another example how we all do a little, but when you add it together it becomes a lot! You don't even have to know James personally, because once you start to write to him you will develop that relationship anyway.
