Robert Chidundo reports on souls saved in Tanzania July 30 2007 'Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus. Grace and peace to everyone who prays for us and supports us. Things are going well and we do appreciate you. In the last two weeks we went to plant a church in the village of Lenjulu, which is about 400km from our base at Kibaha. A team of seven set out, with the others also being members of one of our choirs. The bus took us as far as Pandambili village, and with this being the end of the line with no other vehicles going any further, we had to hire a cart and two oxen. This took our PA system and other luggages the final seven miles. We arrived late but we were committed to start the open air meeting, so we set everything up. There was a crowd of about two hundred people, but as we started to preach they all went away. The next day though we saw two people saved, and on the third day one hundred and thirty six came to Jesus. At the end of the campaign a total of one hundred and sixty people made decisions for the Lord and on the Sunday service eighty three came to the meeting. Because we
had exhausted our finances, it looked as though we would have to leave
the equipment behind with one of the team members; but we thank God
the bus driver said that he would take everything free of charge. We
arrived home on Monday morning and I had two hours rest before then
going to another open air meeting. This time sixty three decisions were
made for Christ.'
