Building
a home in Tanzania
August 7 2007 As part of the roots that James Colton is putting down in Tanzania, he is building a home. Well not literally of course, as James is a pastor not a plumber, and he's more into theology than tiling. But a house is being constructed so that he can settle properly in the land that the Lord has called him to. Today we received the following from James concerning the developments: 'Walls of kitchen finished. Roof put on kitchen. Plastering of kitchen walls done even as I type. Wiring has been done throughout the house. Ceiling boards in place in living room and dining room. Things are happening - internal doors have been bought and are waiting to be fitted. Tiles are being bought for living room floor. Hope to paint so that dining room and living room will be completely ready. So watch this space. We thank God for his blessing and provision for us. We have applied for water to be connected. We wait.' The communication was actually taken from a blog that James writes on the SICM discussion board. You can visit the board by clicking here. Look for the general forum and the blogs and diaries section.
