A harvest of 3,000 souls in East Africa

September 13 2007

SICM supports a number of workers in Africa, our policy being that it is preferable to finance the indigenous people rather than send outsiders in to do the work for them. Of course there are specialised skills needed sometimes, whereby people such as missionaries are needed, but when there is a choice, we will always opt for the locals first. One such person we support is evangelist Ernest Lwehabura, who hails from Tanzania but also works in neighbouring Kenya as well.

The latest report from Ernest is that up to August this year he has seen 3,000 decisions for Christ in both nations. He works tirelessly for the Lord and it is a great privilege to stand with him as he serves God in East Africa.
