Muslim outreach news from Ghana

September 3 2007

We sponsor a Muslim outreach team in the west African nation of Ghana. They do an excellent job in very difficult circumstances, and in that area of ministry, you can't just preach and then walk away. You have to support and assist in every way possible. The following report has been received from the team today:

' I would like to thank SICM for all the wonderful support we have been receiving. By the grace of God we are going to have our final graduation for the brethren we sponsored to learn trades from our evangelistic work in the Muslim Outreach work. We have four males and three females.

I have just returned from the Muslim outreach yesterday and it was fantastic to see some of the converts in leadership positions in various churches. My heart was full of joy and tears ran down from my eyes. The entire Team shed tears of joy and we acknowledged the immense contributions that SICM has made towards our work in Ghana. This recent trip was a bit different as we decided to follow up all those we have witnessed to over the years, and we got a positive response as most of them were in good form. Some of them have cultivated farms and were looking for loans to work with. Most of the ladies has opened their own shops and it was lovely to behold.'
