As we recently reported, Levi Elonga and the team have been on the mission field in western Uganda. They have now arrived home and report that through the preaching of the Word, 4350 people came to the Lord and received salvation. There was a great reception waiting for them when they arrived in the area and Levi comments just how well they were looked after by everyone involved in the mission. The mission itself involved a number of different churches, which is the way that SICM works. We are an interdenominational organisation and so can work freely across boundaries. Whilst in western Uganda, the team also conducted leadership seminars, which were attended by 2300 leaders and wives and a general Christian conference which saw 4700 believers come together for a time of teaching. It is exciting for us at home base when we receive reports like this from the field.
