to the pursuit of barbel.

site, as its name suggests, devoted totally to barbel. Lots
of articles, tackle for sale and a forum.
Birmingham Anglers Association. Miles of
water for the Midlands-based angler to choose from, excellent
value for money. And that's my daughter Miriam on the home
page 'Starting young' when she was eight years old!

Fish Bash Bosh. An angling blog by Steve

database. You can save information and photos of your captures
in simple or exquisite detail. A truly innovative angling
resource - great for finding captures, tackle shops, venues
and holidays by town, county, region etc.

Freeliners Angling Club. A small, friendly and well-run
club with some excellent water to fish.
Lumbland. A blog by well-known angler Dave

Channel, but you can get translation via your toolbar if your
French isn't that good.
Pike Anglers' Club Of Great Britain. Sadly
perhaps our most misunderstood fish. Visit the site even if
just to read the 'Pike handling tips' section.
Roaming Free. Follow the angling exploits
of Stu Maddocks. An enjoyable read.
River Severn Barbel Fishing. Tim Hughes literally
lives on the banks of the Severn at Bridnorth. Follow his
exploits as he pursues barbel.
The Barbel Society. If barbel are amongst your target
species then the BS is well worth joining.
The National Anguilla Club. If eels are your thing
then definitely consider joining this group, which is devoted
totally to the species.
The Perchfishers. Perch may not be
as popular as other fish, but here's a group to consider joining
if you are dedicated to the species.
The Tenchfishers. Dedicated to the tench,
