PERSONNEL.
There are a number of individuals that hold particular offices with
SICM. Each one has a particular function, and as the individual
operates effectively then so the organisation runs smoothly.
An e-mail group exclusive to SICM links the whole team, not just
the English based members, but the overseas ones as well. This is
a wonderful example of how modern technology can be used to the
advantage of God's kingdom. The e-mail group means that, although
many miles separate us, we are in constant communication with each
other.
Stewart Bloor is the
Director of the overall work. He is also the leader of Tipton Family
Church (Evangelical), which he planted in 1992, but also has a wider
preaching ministry that takes him across the denominational barriers.
Stewart works full-time for SICM.
Debby Bloor handles
the finances and accounts of SICM. Married to Stewart she also works
full-time for the ministry. Debby is also involved in the music
ministry at Tipton Family Church.
Robert Chidundo is
the SICM National Representative for Tanzania. The head of the Bethel
Assemblies of God in the country, Robert has been linked with SICM
since 1994, so it was a natural development that he should be more
formally involved with us.
James Colton together
with his wife Anneli, was a missionary in Tanzania from February
2002. Sadly, they were forced to return to England exactly a year
later as Anneli was diagnosed as having cancer. Sadly she lost her
battle on May 31 2003 and went to be with the Lord. James returned
to Tanzania a couple of months later, where he is now ministering
again.
Levi Elonga is SICM's
National Representative for Uganda. He pastors a rural Church and
does a great work for the Lord. He organises all of SICM's teams
that visit Uganda.
Hal Hickman is a trustee
of SICM.
Osmond Owusu is the
SICM National Representative for Ghana. He organises the local programme
for any teams that visit that nation.
Sharon Simmons has
been working with SICM since the summer of 1998 when she started
as Office Support. From November 1998, Sharon has been working full-time
with the ministry, and is responsible for running the office. In
addition she has been on missions to Canada, Ghana and Uganda.
Rosemary Whitehouse,
is a trustee. Prior to becoming computerised, Rosemary did all the
artwork for SICM.
Tom Whitehouse is
a trustee of the ministry.
ACCOUNTABILITY AND CREDIBILITY.
SICM is registered with the British Government as a Charity. Not
only does this enable us to claim back tax on certain gifts but
it also gives credibility. This is important to us, particularly
with so many 'free spirits' around in Christendom today.
As a Charity we have four trustees and our accounts are prepared
each year by an independent accountant. All of these things help
us in our desire to be totally above board in all that we do.
Every
penny that has come into the ministry has been accounted for. All
finance that we receive is acknowledged and receipted and goes to
the purpose for which it was designated. Our accounts are available
for anyone to see.
Our
income has grown considerably each year that SICM has been in operation.
In fact, one of the reasons why many individuals and Churches have
supported the work is because they know our desire to operate with
total integrity in all that we do.
