SUPPORTING
OVERSEAS WORKERS.
One of the important areas of our work involves the supporting of
overseas Pastors and workers. Many of the countries we work in have
an unbelievable level of poverty, and for those that respond to
the call of God, particularly in the rural areas, life can be extremely
hard. Our Ministry Supporting Overseas Workers (SOW) is a real chance
to sow into the ministries of overseas workers.
Below are some profiles of Pastors we currently support:

Levi
Elonga
is a young Pastor from Uganda. Living out in the rural area he finds
it very hard so the support he receives comes as a great blessing.
Levi has a real heart for the Lord's work and does a great job not
only preaching the Gospel but also working amongst the large HIV/AIDS
population of Uganda. |

Osmond
Owusu
is a converted Muslim, currently Pastoring a Church in the Jamestown
district of Accra, Ghana. Jamestown is a very run down part of the
Capital. Osmond works with the people in a practical way. As well
as converting souls, he runs a School, teaching some of the kids
that
would otherwise have no education.
How to support an Overseas Worker
If you would like to support an overseas Pastor, it doesn't have to
be for a great amount of money each month, £5 or so is better than
nothing. It can also be for a limited time, it doesn't have to be
open-ended. All those that support an overseas Pastor receive a photograph
so that they can also pray for them. All finance pledged goes in full,
SICM covers the admin and costs etc.
