As an organisation that works in the continent of Africa, we obtain all the items listed ourselves and direct. This is important, because sometime people try to pass things off as genuine African crafts, when in fact they may have been made in London or somewhere similar by people who have no connections at all with Africa.Yes, this happens!

All the items we have for sale include the country of origin and we will include a small card with each sale thus endorsing the authenticity and uniqueness of the product. We pay a good price when we obtain them in Africa, you get a nice product and of course as all finance goes back into the work we do anyway, everyone is happy all round. There are no losers.

The workmanship is excellent and the fact that everything is hand made is evident when you compare carvings for example. There may be a dozen letter openers, but each one is slightly different. Every product you buy is genuinely unique and would make an excellent gift or as a personal item
