2004/2005
This was our first season and with just six teams it meant that we played each other half a dozen times. The runaway league winners were Ebenezer All Stars, helped in no small way by the firepower of Mark Robinson and Mike Yeardley, who both hit the net 47 times over the course of the season.
Second place in the league went to Sedgley Beacons, who although they finished strongly, couldn't claw back the massive lead that Ebenezer All Stars had built for themselves early on.
The mini-league winners were AFC Fatherless Barn, who in spite of being bottom when the mini-league kicked in actually went on to top the group of three. The team also collected the Fair Play Award, a trophy awarded to the team that contributed most to the league in terms of sportsmanship and attitude.
2005/2006
Our second season saw individual teams increase to 9, and with just three fixtures against each other, it introduced a lot more variety into the proceedings. The title race was a very tight affair, with places only being decided right at the end. Last season's winners Ebenezer All Stars ended up in third place, FC Real Coseley were second and Woodside Adecco (last season's Highfields Straits) ran out winners.
There was also a cup competition, the David Bloor Memorial Trophy, sponsored by Stewart Bloor in memory of his father who sadly passed away during the season. The winners were Ebenezer All Stars who snatched it 2-1, courtesy of a golden goal in the final against FC Real Coseley.
The mini-league was won by CAB Allstars who after a disastrous start to the league, actually finished the strongest team, which will make the 06/07 season very interesting. AFC Fatherless Barn again confirmed their position as the league's 'gentlemen' by winning the Fair Play Award, with the only other team close to them in votes being CAB Allstars.
Top scorer was again Ebenezer All Stars' Mark Robinson, who put away a fantastic total of 91 goals during the season. To give an indication of how consistent he was, Scott Smith of Woodside Adecco was second with 60. Goalkeepers dominated the Man Of The Match awards, with Alan Marsh of CAB Allstars and Richard Starkie of AFC Fatherless Barn collecting 10 nominations each.

The third season saw the third name appear on the League championship trophy, with new boys Juaniche Wanderers seeing off Ebenezer All Stars in second place with a nine point gap, and a massive 20 points over third team FC Real Coseley.
The reigning champions Woodside Adecco had a disastrous start to the campaign, but they more than made up for that by winning both the David Bloor Memorial Trophy and the mini-league, with the latter going right to the wire with a 1-0 victory on the last game of the season.
As well as finishing second in the league, Ebenezer All Stars also finished as runners-up in the David Bloor Memorial Trophy, so it was still a successful season for them. Their top goalscorer Mark Robinson was again the leading marksman in the league, with a total of 48. But it was close, as Baz Zare of Juaniche Wanderers, was just one goal short of that figure.
It was goalkeeper Alan Marsh of Athletico Coseley who again received the most Man Of The Match awards, with an impressive 11 nominations. For the third season on the trot, AFC Fatherless Barn were awarded the Fair Play Award, with a comfortable points nomination ahead of Ebenezer All Stars and Juaniche Wanderers.

2007/2008
Although there were name changes, four teams entered the league who can claim the title of 'founding member'. These were AFC Fatherless Barn, Ebenezer All Stars, Hilly House Adecco and Tipton Family Church FC.
For the first time in the short history of SICM Sevens a team did the double, with the honour falling to Ebenezer All Stars, who ran away with the league title, claiming a massive 22 point gap over second placed Hilly House Adecco. In the final of the David Bloor Memorial Trophy they defeated Tipton Family Church FC 3-0.
The mini-league was won for the first time by Tipton Family Church FC, who although only finishing fifth out of eight teams had the second tightest defence in the league overall. The Golden Boot was collected by David Wall of AFC Fatherless Barn who hit the back of the net 39 times during the course of the season. Krish Patel from Ebenezer All Stars put in some excellent performances to collect a total of nine Man Of The Match awards.
For the fourth season on the trot AFC Fatherless Barn won the Fair Play Award. But this time it went right to the wire as they received 48 votes while Tipton Family Church FC had 47.

2008/2009
With ten teams on board this time round, all three competitions were won convincingly by Juaniche Wanderers, who were back after a season's absence. Although they won the title with five points to spare, their lead throughout was never challenged. And with wins of 6-0 against Crestwood Church FC in the David Bloor Memorial Trophy and 7-0 (after a 2-2 first game) over Tipton Family Church FC in The Summer Cup, they certainly did the treble in style.
With such a convincing season, it's hardly surprising that Juaniche Wanderers provided the platform for the leading goalscorer and that honour went to Ryan Southall with 61.
After being in the league from season two, Kingsway Lions finally won their first honours as they edged the mini-league. Due to expansion, this was the final mini-league competition. It was sad to see it go in some ways as it gave the struggling teams something to play for, but on the other hand it only went because we have moved on in a positive way.
Although the Fair Play Award had the AFC Fatherless Barn name on it again, this time it was shared with Crestwood Church FC.

2009/2010
Eleven teams competed for the first time, as SICM Sevens continued to grow. The league title went right to the wire with Hilly House edging Brandhall & Quinton FC into second-place on goal difference only.
Tipton Family Church FC finished third in the league, as well as winning The Summer Cup, beating Hilly House 3-0 in the final. A second cup runners-up place saw Hilly House lose out to Midland Elite FC in the David Bloor Memorial Trophy 3-2 in a replay after the first game ended 2-2.
Tom Adams reinforced the top season that Hilly House had by claiming both the golden boot with 75 goals and the most MOTM awards with 16.

2010/2011
We started the season with 13 teams, and although sadly 2 dropped out towards the end, it was our tightest season yet. Right to the last few weeks several teams were still in with a mathematical chance of taking the league title. The honour in the end went to Ebenezer All Stars who beat Midland Elite FC, who if the latter had picked up the three points would have won the title themselves.
In fact it was the same in the David Bloor Memorial Trophy as Ebenezer All Stars beat Midland Elite FC. To complete the treble, Ebenezer All Stars beat Hilly House in the final of The Summer Cup, but only after a replay.
The league's top scorer was Mark Robinson whose 43 goals helped Ebenezer All Stars to their clean sweep while Crestwood Church FC's Josh Owen and Sean Tobin collected 9 and 8 Man of The Match awards respectively.
