TFC news and updates
Tomorrow
- Sunday (September 7) - our special guest is the
ex-Wolves and Ipswich Town defender Derek Jefferson.
Derek will be sharing about his football career and
his life story, and most importantly how his life was changed
when he started to walk God's way instead of his own. The
meeting is open to all and we are inviting people to wear
their favourite football shirts, particularly if they are
old gold and black, although we are a very tolerant church
and even allow blue and white stripes in if we are pushed.
The meeting starts at 10.30 am and you can find details via
the 'Directions' section at the base of this page. It would
be great to see you!

The

characters put in an appearance including Scooby Doo, a robot,
Peter Pan and an
ageing hippie.

The
very first Krafty Klass last night went very
well and everyone is looking forward to the next one already.
As a sign of just how far TFC has come on, we had more people
at church last night than we sometimes used to get on a Sunday
morning two years ago!

A
number of dates for the October programme have
been added to the website today and can be viewed via the
'Church diary 'link towards the base of the page. There are
still quite a few additions though which will be published
within the week.

Tickets
are now starting to go for the next SNL@TFC in
October and you can check current availability and other details
via the link at the base of the page. It's going to be a great
night as DJ Dan Hargreaves from Lincoln brings
along his crew, so there will be dancing displays as well.
We have produced a trailer
for the event and we hope to see you there, but get your tickets
early!

Tipton
Family Church FC went head-to-head with Juaniche
Wanderers last night, who were the strong pre-season favourites
to win the league. We found ourselves down at half-time 3-1
but we bounced back to get a well-deserved draw. You can check
out the video here
and at the same time listen to a great track from the new
Casting Crowns CD. You can visit the league site here.

The
video of Sonday Rose at Gateshead has now
been added to our YouTube site and you can view it
here. As you can see from the September home page update
the two photographs above are also of the girls in the north-east.
