Contemporary, forward-thinking and relevant to the 21st century!

 

Hello and welcome to the TFC site! We're a small, friendly church, but not overpowering; we want people to feel at home with us but not smothered.

We believe that church should be enjoyed not endured, and as a result we are relaxed, informal and family-friendly. In fact it is no coincidence that the word 'Family' is in our title.

Of course it's all about God and surveys regularly tell us that the vast majority of people believe in God but don't go to church. That indicates that the problem lies with church. And that's where we see an opportunity to reach out.

The statement about being contemporary, forward-thinking and relevant says it all regarding our attitude and approach. We're attempting to contextualise the Christian faith into the modern world as we believe that relationship with Jesus - as opposed to just having religion - is the perfect foundation on which to build our lives.
