We have added a couple of videos
from recent Sunday morning messages to YouTube. They
are The Magi visit Jerusalem and The Magi
visit Jesus. They can be accessed via Stewart Bloor's 'The
Bible explained'
playlist.
They're on line number eight! . Enjoy, be challenged, but above all,
be blessed! (Friday January 1)
There will be a time of sharing in the Sunday service
this week (January 3). The theme will be 'Looking
back, looking forward' and it will be great to hear thoughts
and testimonies on that topic. (Friday January 1)
We'd
love to have you with us for our first service of 2010 on Sunday
January 3 at 10.30am. It is being taken
by Stewart Bloor. Stewart is starting a new series
on The Incommunicable Attributes of God - these are
the things that make God God! (Sunday December 27)
Our
next social event is the New Year's ball
organised by Fern Hadley on Saturday January 9. Like
everything else that Fern organises, it's going to be a great night!
All are welcome. (Saturday December 26)
Our Rock Skool and
Kidz Klub programmes start after the Christmas break on Tuesday
January 12. Times etc are in the diary page on the website. These
programmes are open to all, not just to TFC people. Contact Debby
for more details. (Saturday December 26)
We
would like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a brilliant
New Year. Whether member or occasional visitor to the website,
we trust that you will all have a brilliant time. Jesus is
the reason for the season! (Friday December 24)
What
better way to start the day than with the Word. And if you happen
to be on your computer regularly during the day then combine the two
and check out a new daily devotion for 2009. Here is the link
to the playlist, and with the first one already on-line you get
an idea of what to expect. Be blessed! (Monday December 21)
Tipton
Family Church FC ended the year on a low note as we lost
8-5 to Hilly House! This was the team we beat 3-0 a couple of weeks
back to win the cup. It's a funny old game! You can check the league
site here. (Thursday December
17)
Want to lose some weight after
Christmas and help build a water project in Swaziland?
It's open to anyone but it would be good for us at TFC to get involved.
Check out A pound for a pound
and get your name down! (Thursday December 10 2009)
We recently began to walk the path that we believe will see our church
grow numerically by 100% by the end of December
2010. It's not easy to build a church in 21st Century Britain,
with so many people having no time for God. But we are positive as
a church and see TFC as being attractive. We're encouraged that from
September to November our Sunday morning service attendance
increased by 20%. Still a long way to go but every oak tree
started as an acorn! (Monday December 7)
